Hi Peter,

I thought you had done a great job of sharing information so far but this will get anyone making their own loops. All of this has been a great contribution to this sites info base.

Regards,

Ard

Hi Peter, I have long been a scandi fan and followed your hooked4life for years. Your new instructions on welded loops is the best I have ever seen. I spend several hours a day custom welding lines for Meiser and Anderson, you understand and explain the process extremely well, I appreciate that you have shared it. Hope we can meet some day. stevegodhall@charter.net

Thanks everyone:

Here's the promised video after a lengthy wrestling match with Youtube over formats.

I'm working on the second video at the moment and should have it up by this evening.

I was, this morning. Out at 7:30 looking for some late spring fish. We only hit bass and walleye, though we did see one chromer caught so they're still in the river.

Hey, every once in a while ya just have to go slummin' with the plebes.

Next one is up on connecting running lines:

http://www.hooked4life.ca/welding/co...ect_lines.html

Three more in the pipeline:
  • making a butt end loop
  • welding a tip loop in T material
  • joining T material to fly line

Should be done by Wednesday unless I have to go fishing . . .

Thanks for another great post, Peter. The fact that Steve G also thinks so is the frosting on the cake! I've seen his welds(and used them)and seeing your tutorial really makes me want to give this method a try.
