I don't get a lot of line twist spey casting, buit that may be because I enjoy casting cachanded so much, that the on-side and off-side may cancel each other out.
I fish shooting heads a lot in salt with a sh rod, and use a modified Belgian cast a good share of the time, which seems to twist things up pretty consistently. As soon as I get an errant twist, I launch long cast so the running line's tight to the reel, put one hand on the fighting butt, the other above the stripping guide, and holding arms out straight with the rod in a loose grip, I spin it - well, til it feels like enough. When I think about it I spin it so the reel rotates out away from me, up and over, rotating it probably a couple dozen time. A couple/three times per day seems to keep the tangles away.
